State-of-the-Art Facility Now in Full Operation

May 25, 2006 – Brecksville, Ohio – CEILCOTE USA, Inc. the leading innovator of high build chemical resistant polymer systems announces the relocation of their manufacturing and headquarters facility to Berea, Ohio.  The move signifies another key step in the renewed focus of CEILCOTE on their core strengths of the development and manufacture of high performance polymers that include heavy-duty corrosion resistant coatings, linings and fiberglass-reinforced systems.  The newly refurbished 64,000 square foot facility will allow CEILCOTE to expand its staff as well as product line offering, and provides a comprehensive systems solution to meet the demanding corrosion protection challenges of the 21st century.  

The CEILCOTE USA, Inc. Research and Development facility is fully equipped with advanced physical testing machines as well as a 14-foot by 24-foot spray booth and environmental chamber.  The spray booth is a critical requirement to product research as it allows them to evaluate the way the material sprays, hangs and cures on vertical and overhead applications.  An environmental chamber provides real life temperature exposures allowing for a minute-to-minute or hour-to-hour analysis of the materials application and curing capabilities.  Adjacent to the R&D facility, is a workshop and sample preparation room.  This is where virtually every size and type of immersion test or finished display sample is produced based upon requests received from throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.  As summed up by Mr. Bill Slama, Senior Technical Advisor for CEILCOTE USA, Inc., “The superior performance of our products are achieved through many fundamental elements, that include research and development, manufacturing, marketing, selling and the timely distribution of high quality corrosion resistant polymer materials to our customers.”

In addition, the new facility also offers a larger area for manufacturing and warehouse space while doubling the space currently allotted for cold room storage of both raw material and finished goods.  The purchase of new equipment creates a more efficient manufacturing process as well as ability to increase production capacity.  “There is no doubt after viewing the new facility and improved service capabilities, that CEILCOTE will have everything required to grow dynamically in the next ten years,” comments Dave Brysacz, Regional Manager for the Midwest and West Region.
